About Gardenia-05 Incense Sticks
Gardenia-05 is a Metal-element incense blend of white jade orchid, agarwood, cliff cypress, amber resin and polygala. It opens floral, settles into woods and resin, and is positioned for focus, structure and clear thinking.
Gardenia-05 is built around jīn (金), the Metal element. It is a scent for focus, structure, and clear thinking. White jade orchid opens the blend, agarwood and cliff cypress give it weight, and amber resin warms the finish. Polygala keeps the whole profile steady rather than dreamy.
Intention: Focus & Clarity
Aroma: A floral opening of white jade orchid, a velvet heart of agarwood and cliff cypress, and a warm amber base held steady by polygala.
Atmosphere: A moonlit garden after midnight, pale orchids catching silver light, an ink brush resting beside an unwritten page, and the calm before a decision is made.
Packaging: Wrapped in textured honeycomb paper and tied with natural twine, each piece arrives with a hanging product tag inside a reusable wooden box. Simple, protective, and quietly considered, it is packaging meant to stay with the ritual long after the unboxing is over.
Product Details: Each tube contains 20 incense sticks, with an approximate burn time of 20 minutes per stick.
In the hush of a Chinese temple, smoke rises from brass censers in deliberate, silken threads. It is not incidental. It is a language. It bears prayers heavenward, voices gratitude to those who came before, and marks the threshold where the noise of the world yields to the quiet of the sacred.
For centuries, incense has attended the quiet rituals of Chinese life. It perfumed the scholar's study before the first stroke of ink. It stood before ancestral tablets on days of remembrance. It measured the hours not in minutes, but in the slow exhale of sandalwood. It welcomed guests with an unspoken courtesy and settled a veil of calm over the home.
Our incense distills this heritage into a single slender stick. No temple is required. Only intention. Wherever it is lit, the ordinary stills into the sacred.
White Jade Orchid:
A bright floral note that brings lift and openness to the blend.
Noble Agarwood (Oudh):
Adds depth and gives the scent a steady, contemplative center.
Ancient Cliff Cypress (Thuja):
Brings a dry woody note that supports the blend's cleaner, more structured feel.
Polygala:
Traditionally associated with focus and resolve. Here it helps keep the composition grounded.
Golden Amber Resin:
Adds warmth and a lasting base.
Choose an hour when a decision needs a cleaner line and a practical next step.
Preparation:
Place the incense in a stable, heat-safe holder on a level surface. Keep it away from flammable materials and remain present while it burns. Set a notebook, one question, or the document you need to work through beside you.
Lighting:
Light the tip and allow the flame to catch. Gently blow it out until only the glowing ember remains. Let the first thread of smoke rise before returning your attention to the page.
Visualization:
Picture a moonlit garden after rain, each pale leaf and edge of stone visible in the quiet. Place one question at the center of the scene. Do not force an answer. Instead, let the unnecessary details fall away until the next clear choice remains. Let that choice become simple, specific, and close enough to begin.
Affirmation:
“My mind is clear. My will is steady. I walk my path with grace and certainty.”
Integration:
Before leaving the room, write down one decision you can move forward within the next day. Give it a time and a place. Let the ritual end with that commitment.
